Highly-porous Foam Pad with large surface area mechanically filters large particles and debris from the aquarium. Dual density Poly/Foam Pad combines two stages of mechanical filtration. Stage 1 captures large particles within the porous foam. Stage 2 traps fine debris within the dense polyester layer. Sizes fit Fluval C2, C3, or C4 power filters.

Instructions for Use
Rinse foam pad thoroughly before use, and insert into mechanical frame. Using water from the aquarium, rinse monthly or when the cleaning indicator rises. No NOT use tap water.

For best results, replace Foam Pad every 2-3 months and replace Poly/Foam Pad every 4-6 weeks. To ensure constant presence of beneficial bacteria, do not replace all filtration media at the same time.
